Tinkoff will hold Tinkoff CTF (Capture the Flag)* — an annual international sports hacking competition for IT specialists. Both experts in the topic of information security, as well as developers, SREs, QA engineers, analysts and other specialists can take part in online and offline formats. The event will take place on April 20 and 21 in 16 cities of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Tinkoff CTF is based on the mechanics of sports hacking competitions with tasks based on modern memes and references to popular culture. Last year, Tinkoff CTF gathered more than 6.8 thousand participants in different cities of Russia and Belarus.
The competition mascot, the capybara, is one of the most popular animals in popular culture in recent years. Also this year, the Hypercube became a new symbol of the competition, the secret of which will be revealed to the participants. On each of its edges there are riddles from other worlds that teams need to solve.
The scenarios are based on tasks on web security, security of mobile applications, infrastructure, cryptography and general tasks on the hacker horizons and ingenuity. For correct decisions, participants will receive achievements and points. The teams that score the maximum points will win.

Teams can apply to two leagues: League Beginnersis suitable for those who have not encountered CTF before. League of Experienced — for specialists who have already participated in CTF or work in the field of information security.
Tinkoff CTF will be held in online and offline formats at Tinkoff development centers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Voronezh, Samara, Omsk, Saratov, Izhevsk, Sochi, Krasnoyarsk, Kaliningrad, Minsk and Almaty. You can participate online from anywhere in the world.
On offline platforms, participants will have the opportunity to get together as a team and communicate with experts, take part in quizzes and other activities and win exclusive merch designed specifically for the competition.
The amount of the competition prize fund is RUB 1,500,000.
