According to the Standard for Integrated Territory Development (CTD) from DOM.RF, it is planned to build a residential microdistrict in the third largest city in the Republic of Belarus — Grodno. Belarus has become the third foreign country after Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan where the Standard is being implemented.
For the implementation of the project, which is financed by the company » BelVEB Capital, DOM.RF specialists have developed an architectural and planning concept for the development of a land plot on Tkatskaya Street.
“The concept takes into account the general plan of Grodno and contains recommendations on the richness and diversity of development, the typology and architecture of objects, the organization of common courtyard areas and filling the microdistrict with diverse infrastructure. As part of the project, on a site of 97.5 hectares, it is planned to build different formats of housing according to the mid-rise model of the KRT Standard, and at least 30% of the development will consist of service functions, including shopping and business centers,” noted the director for urban environment development at DOM. RF Anton Finogenov.
It is planned to build cottages, townhouses and houses up to eight floors in the microdistrict. The number of apartments is tentatively 4665. The implementation of the project on the proposed site guarantees an increase in the housing stock of Grodno by more than 350 thousand square meters. m.
“We would like the city of Grodno, in addition to the historical style, to also develop its own modern style, which would arouse interest among the townspeople and which would not be a shame to leave to future generations. And in this regard, we are grateful for the discussion and consultations with the DOM.RF Foundation, which has extensive experience in implementing such projects — these are both social projects and luxury housing, complex development of the territory. In this regard, today’s meeting is also very useful in that representatives of the banking industry are present in order to offer new, more flexible lending instruments, including for citizens who want to improve their housing needs,” said Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.
The development of the social infrastructure of the microdistrict will be ensured by two kindergartens, a school, a sports center, a business center, multi-level parking lots, as well as a shopping and entertainment center. A safe and comfortable environment in the development area will be ensured by closed courtyards without vehicles.
