Berlin police have solved the brutal murder of Oksana Romberg, a cosmetologist from Ukraine who moved to Germany and opened her own salon. A 53-year-old man was arrested in connection with the case.
The German publication Bild recalls that a Ukrainian woman was found murdered on April 1, 2021 in her apartment in the center of Berlin on Kurfürstendamm street. Then shocking details of the incident appeared in the media. It turned out that the fanatic who took the life of a 50-year-old woman first severely beat her and then abused her with stones. On one of these stones, the police found traces of the killer's DNA and eventually found him three years later.
To catch the criminal, the police compiled a list of all the cosmetologist's acquaintances and gradually invited them to a DNA test. And when they took tests from the 91st person on the list, the test showed a positive result.
The working version of the police is that the man helped Romberg in everyday matters, and killed to rob. However, the nature of the murder of the Ukrainian woman suggests other motives. The investigation continues.
