The historical game «Troubles» will be available to VK Play users on April 4

MOSCOW, April 4 The historical adventure game “Troubles” will become available to VK Play users, a closed presentation of the game will take place on April 4 in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, the press service of the Institute reported Internet Development (IRI).
The project has been developed since 2022 by the Cyberia Nova company with the support of the Internet Development Institute (IRI).

“The historical adventure game “The Troubles,” dedicated to the events of the Time of Troubles, will become available to VK Play users on April 4… The project will launch in the afternoon at a closed presentation of the game in Nizhny Novgorod. After this, the project will become available for launch on VK Play. Estimated time: 15.00 Moscow time,» the message says.

Nizhny Novgorod played a vital role in the events of the Time of Troubles. It was here that the Second Militia was assembled, expelling the Polish occupiers from Moscow.
Guests of the game presentation will be presented with a new game video «The Troubles», in which for the first time a symphonic version of the track of the same name by the Radio Tapok group will be heard, as well as a 15-minute film about the project and its literary basis — Mikhail Zagoskin's novel «Yuri Miloslavsky, or the Russians in 1612». The culmination of the event will be the start of sales of the game. After this, the computers in the gaming area will start working, where guests of the presentation will be able to independently get acquainted with the new product.

«The project should combine historical context with game mechanics: we hope that such a product will appeal to the audience and give impetus to the further development of the domestic market. The developers did not have much time, but, for our Look, the team did it well — let’s see what the players themselves say,” the press service quotes the words of Alexei Goreslavsky, general director of the Internet Development Institute.
Earlier, on March 30, a free educational version of the “Time of Troubles” project was released with a virtual tour of Moscow at the beginning of the 17th century in the company of historian and reenactor Klim Zhukov.
