MOSCOW, April 11. Moscow machine builders are increasing the production of equipment and machinery — according to the results of last year, the output of these products increased by more than 25%, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
“Today, in the capital’s mechanical engineering complex there are more than 260 factories, employing over 11.7 thousand specialists. Companies produce machine tools, industrial robots, technological equipment, household appliances and much more. With the support of the city, the industry is showing steady growth — by the end of 2023, the volume The production of equipment and machinery increased by more than a quarter. In particular, the production of metalworking machines almost tripled, the production of conveyors doubled, and the production of elevators increased by 29.4%,» Ovchinsky was quoted as saying by the press service of DIPP.< br />In addition, products are produced to ensure the operation of equipment and machines, in particular, import-substituting lubricants.
The press service gave the example of a resident of the Strogino technology park, the New Orbita company. The company began producing three lines of refrigeration equipment in 2023. Last year, it produced refrigeration equipment with a total cooling capacity of more than 3.5 thousand kilowatts, which is double the previous year.
In turn, the Tekhnored enterprise produced 320 industrial robotic palletizers, robotic welding systems, manipulators and other equipment, doubling production over the year. Plans for the current year include the production of 550 units of devices, including new models.
Previously, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the production of machinery and equipment in the capital has increased fivefold over the past five years.
Moscow is a city with developed production. There are more than 4.2 thousand industrial companies in the capital, employing 725 thousand people. Every year, 40-50 medium and large enterprises are opened, as well as about 100 small ones. They produce a variety of goods and actively introduce innovations.
On behalf of the mayor of Moscow, the city is implementing a set of measures aimed at increasing the investment attractiveness of the capital for domestic industrialists and developing production. The city has created comfortable conditions for the development of small, medium and large enterprises. Moscow entrepreneurs can take advantage of more than 20 systemic measures to support the city, for example, targeted loans and subsidies. A number of anti-crisis tools have also been developed.
