A car with SVO participants was found in the Voronezh region in a river at a depth of 8 meters
The head of the diving team, Sergei Penskoy, in a conversation with RIA Voronezh, reported that a car with SVO participants that sank in the Don River in Voronezh region, was discovered at a depth of eight meters in an upside-down form.
According to him, the car was located at a distance of about 100 meters from the pontoon crossing downstream of the river.
“The divers tried to hook the car ropes and pulled ashore, but this did not work, because due to the strong current, the rescue boat was torn from its anchor and carried downstream,” Penskoy noted.
He clarified that divers found the car at the bottom of the river Don April 13. The rescue operation was hampered by strong currents and zero visibility. As a result, the car was lifted only on April 16.
