The law enforcement officers were called by the victim's partner
Details of the brutal beating of a Shatura resident by police near a house on Radchenko Street have come to light. Let us remind you that on April 13, a local resident filmed a video from his apartment of law enforcement officers kicking a man lying on the asphalt, after which they got into a service car and drove away.
As MK found out, that day the victim, a 38-year-old man who works as a driver, was drinking in the company of his common-law wife and her friend at home. At some point, the lady wanted to continue the banquet; she wanted to go for a walk with her friend, but her roommate would not let her in. During the conflict, she decided to call the police. According to the victim's relatives, at the time of the beating the lady was in a patrol car and looked at what was happening.
Later, the beaten driver was able to get to the apartment on his own. The next day he took off the beatings — in addition to bruises on his body and face, he had an injured leg, but hospitalization was not required.
According to friends of the family, the cohabitants have already settled their differences. On April 16, the man went to the police for identification. However, the procedure had to be postponed because the extras who were supposed to stand next to the guilty policemen did not show up. As investigators established, they turned out to be employees of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs «Shatursky» of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region — a 34-year-old senior sergeant who has been working in the position since 2019, and a 24-year-old police sergeant (working as a driver for three years).
As Olga Vradiy, senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Federation Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, reported, a criminal case has been opened against the police officers under the article “Exceeding official powers.”
