On Wednesday morning, according to the hydrological bulletin of the Tyumen Central Hydrological Service, the water level in this section of the river reached 884 centimeters, having risen 76 centimeters in a day.

At the checkpoint in the city of Ishim at 20.00 (18.00 Moscow time) Wednesday, the water level in the river rose by 24 centimeters in the morning — to 418 (critical 850), in the village of Abatskoye the water rose by 10 centimeters — to 477 (960) centimeters, near the village of Vikulovo — by 20 centimeters and reached 377 (critical 1000) centimeters.

Reporting to the president on the flood situation in the region, Governor Moore said on Wednesday that in the Kazan region the water level in the Ishim River is predicted to be within 10 meters. By nightfall in the village of Kazanskoye, the crest of the dam will be filled with bags to a height of up to 11 meters. The evacuation of the population from the area of ​​possible flooding was announced in advance.
A state of emergency due to flooding in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8. Exceeding historical maximum water levels is expected on the Ishim and Tobol rivers. The most tense situation with the release of water onto the floodplains of rivers in the region is expected by April 20, the peak – April 23-25. To minimize and eliminate the consequences of the flood in the Tyumen region, a group was formed, which included more than 12 thousand people and over 2.6 thousand pieces of equipment.
