YEKATERINBURG, April 22 The water level in the city of Ishim, Tyumen region, is expected to peak on Monday, the head of the region said Alexander Moor in the Telegram channel.
“The dynamics over the past hours indicate that today we can expect the formation of a peak in the water level in the city of Ishim,” Moor said in a video message.

According to him, the “head” of the flood comes from the Ishim district to the Abat district, where two villages located downstream were preventively evacuated.
According to the hydrological bulletin published on the government’s Telegram channel , by 8.00 (6.00 Moscow time) Monday, the water level in the Ishim River in the area of the city of the same name is 1064 centimeters. At 6.00 Moscow time on Sunday it reached 1051 centimeters, so the increase over the day was 13 centimeters.
The emergency regime for floods in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8. Exceeding historical maximum water levels is expected on the Ishim and Tobol rivers. The authorities reported that the peak of the flood is expected on April 23-25.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, more than 3 thousand people were evacuated in the region, 98 residential buildings, 444 country houses and 646 personal plots were flooded.
