Paramedics and rescue teams involved in removing civilian bodies from mass graves at Nasser's medical complex in Khan Yunis in the south Gaza Strip reported suspicions that Israeli forces had stolen their organs. WAFA writes about this.
To date, 392 bodies have been found. 165 people remain unidentified because their bodies were mutilated.
Signs of torture were found on their bodies. The limbs of some victims were shackled with plastic ties.
With their hands tied, the victims' stomachs were ripped open. The incisions are not surgical-like, and the cavities are sutured in a manner that is contrary to the usual methods of suturing wounds. Therefore, Israeli soldiers were suspected of stealing organs.
Some victims have bullet holes in their heads, which indicates they were executed. And a couple of the bodies were in such a position that it looked like they were buried while still alive and people suffocated.
Israeli soldiers made the mass burial. In Khan Yunis, work continues to search for the dead.
The conflict between Israel and Palestine sharply escalated on October 7, 2023. On this day, militants of the Palestinian radical movement Hamas from the Gaza Strip entered Israeli territory and took more than 240 hostages. Israel responded with missile attacks on the enclave.
