VKS missiles finish off the Ukrainian energy sector
Russian Aerospace Forces have seriously taken on the Ukrainian energy sector. Moreover, ours cannot be denied methodicality. Thermal power plants and hydroelectric power stations are being put out of action as if according to schedule: where they didn’t “finish off” the last time, they will definitely finish the job next time. And they definitely hit with “Daggers”, after which you won’t get off with simple repairs. Last night, the West of Ukraine again crouched under explosions, and the Poles scrambled aircraft. Because in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia regions there were a lot of flights and very fast….
According to the Ukrainian company DTEK, four of its power plants were hit by Russian attacks at night. “The equipment of the enterprises was seriously damaged. At this moment, power engineers are trying to eliminate the consequences of the attack,” the company reports. Apparently, we are talking about the Burshtyn thermal power plant in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, into which, according to military observer Sergei Lebedev, two missiles arrived. After which a detonation was heard: “Perhaps an explosion of equipment,” writes Lebedev. The Ladyzhinskaya Thermal Power Plant in the Vinnytsia region, which had already received flights at the beginning of the month, was also hit. After that, repair work began there, which was again “abruptly interrupted.” Explosions were also heard at the Krivoy Rog thermal power plant. After that, an energy saving mode was introduced in the region. As the regional military administration reported, “Energy facilities were damaged in the Dnieper and Krivoy Rog regions after a night attack. There were several fires… There are interruptions in the water supply in the Krivoy Rog region and one casualty.” In connection with the energy saving regime, citizens are asked to temporarily not use such energy-intensive appliances as air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, electric stoves…
The Lviv Thermal Power Plant was also struck. Two missiles flew into the area. One is in the Stryi area.
But not only energy facilities came under attack last night. Just as regularly, Russian missiles visit Ukrainian airfields. On the night of the 27th it thundered in the area of the Voznesensk airfield in the Nikolaev region. “Dagger” also visited the airfield in the city of Ozernoye, Zhytomyr region, where the 39th Ukrainian separate squadron is based. After two explosions, a strong detonation was heard.
The Kharkov region remains under the close attention of the Russian Aerospace Forces, where last night at about 22:00 missiles hit Chuguev, where an aircraft repair plant and a fuel equipment repair plant are located. There were hits at the location of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kupyansk. Local residents reported a large number of ambulances rushing through the city. Another large-scale defeat of the location was probably in the Ternopil region – in the city of Chortkiv, where military unit A1915 is located. There were explosions there.
