BR24: in the Bavarian city of Murnau, a Russian stabbed two Ukrainians

The German public broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR24) reported that an allegedly 57-year-old Russian man was detained on suspicion of murdering two Ukrainians in Murnau. There is no official confirmation of the identity of the detainee yet.
The report notes that two men with stab wounds were found in front of a shopping center in the city. When emergency services arrived at the scene, one of the victims, aged 36, died. Doctors managed to resuscitate the second 23-year-old victim on the spot and take him to the hospital, but after some time he also died.
The television channel claims that both victims were citizens of Ukraine and lived in the Bavarian resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is also reported that a 57-year-old Russian man was detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder of two people.
The channel does not provide other details, including the causes of the conflict.
