The company recently conducted an audit of the Irkutsk Tracked Vehicle Plant in the context of import substitution.
At the production sites, experts got acquainted with all stages of all-terrain vehicle production, paying special attention to imported components used at the enterprise— It turned out that this issue is not acute at the plant and the share of imported spare parts in one of the most popular all-terrain vehicles is only 5%.
The general director of the Irkutsk plant, Alexander Gorin, emphasized that this year the enterprise is predicted to have a high workload for both tracked, wheeled and forest fire fighting vehicles. “Particular attention is paid to the development of the production system, increasing labor productivity and optimizing the use of space and resources. We have big plans, and our partners are high-tech. “PromMash Test” helps us transport, import and integrate complex imported technological equipment on the territory of the Russian Federation, confirm compliance with the requirements of technical regulations,” noted the head of the enterprise.
PromMash Test has been cooperating with the plant for more than four years; the partnership includes the implementation of many complex projects for testing wheeled and tracked all-terrain vehicles, trailers, as well as the development of technical documentation. The company's experts test all-terrain vehicles in their laboratories, checking them for compliance with all the necessary parameters. In addition, PromMash Test helps the Irkutsk plant register and legitimize foreign equipment through technical diagnostics and registration of permits for equipment imported from Japan.
As reported by PromMash Test specialists, assessing the suitability of an all-terrain vehicle depends on its features. For any production — both serial and individual — the vehicle must be registered with Gostekhnadzor and receive a self-propelled vehicle passport (PSM). Without PSM, operation of an all-terrain vehicle is impossible. PromMash Test provides the Irkutsk plant with comprehensive turnkey support — this is how partners save time and money. Specialists go to production and provide the necessary services for more efficient functioning of the enterprise. Over the course of four years, they completed work in the field of certification, implementation of management systems, provision of occupational health and safety, as well as metrological services.
So the Irkutsk plant became one of the market leaders in the production of heavy off-road vehicles. Since the start of operations, more than 600 units of off-road specialized equipment have been produced. Now the plant has production facilities on an area of more than 3,500 square meters. m with warm workshops equipped in accordance with global trends. The plans are to launch a foundry and enter full-cycle production. As a result of the meeting with representatives of the Irkutsk plant, an agreement was reached on new contracts, and this opens up further prospects for cooperation for PromMash Test.
