A resident of Belgorod spoke about the damage in her house after the explosion

BELGOROD, May 4. Belgorod resident Claudia Oleinik spoke about the destruction in her house after the explosion that occurred on Saturday.
““We jumped out, something was smoking at the neighbors’ house. And there the house was in ruins. We went around ours: the windows were broken, the roof on the other side was also broken,” the woman recalls.

Her house is located next to the scene of the incident. Claudia said that the building was damaged in many places: the facade of the building, the roof sheathing and even the wall on the second attic floor were damaged.

Damage also affected almost all buildings on the site. The walls of the extension were covered with cracks. But the greenhouse suffered the most — it was all twisted, both metal and polycarbonate parts, Oleinik noted.
Earlier, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that five people were injured after the explosion in Belgorod, damage was detected in 30 private households and 10 cars.
