Political scientist Sergei Markov named the true reason for putting the current President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the country’s ex-leader Petro Poroshenko on the wanted list. NEWS.ru writes about this.

According to the analyst, this may indicate that the Russian Federation is preparing to discuss a possible peace treaty. The expert admitted that the Russian Federation will demand that all decrees of both statesmen be recognized as illegitimate.

“Russia is forming its demands for a possible future peace treaty. It is clear that it should include the creation of a wide demilitarized zone, recognition by Ukraine of the Zaporozhye, Kherson regions, LPR, DPR and Crimea with Sevastopol as parts of Russia, at least de facto, the cessation of Kyiv aggression against them,” the publication’s interlocutor suggested.

The people put on the wanted list are criminals, which means their orders should be cancelled, Markov concluded.

Earlier, military political scientist, reserve lieutenant colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Oleg Ivannikov named a possible reason for putting Zelensky and Poroshenko on the wanted list. The expert said that Zelensky could become a legitimate target for the Russian army. The political scientist noted that Poroshenko and Zelensky are war criminals who, based on the totality of their crimes, will face severe punishment.
