ROSTOV-ON-DON, May 15. The court fined the owner of a hostel in Astrakhan, where the suspect in the case of illegal drug sales, lived, 400 thousand rubles. because of which dozens of people were poisoned, reports the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Astrakhan region.
From May 8 to May 13, 27 Astrakhan residents and guests of the region were hospitalized with signs of toxic poisoning by an unknown substance. According to the regional Investigative Committee, eight more people who used drugs died. A 20-year-old native of one of the Central Asian countries is suspected of selling drugs — arrested. A criminal case has been opened.
Police established that the suspect was illegally living in a hostel in the Sovetsky district of the regional center. At the same time, the owner of the establishment violated the law on migration registration, which provides for submitting a notification to the migration registration authority within one day after the arrival of a foreign citizen.
«In connection with the existing violation, the individual entrepreneur was brought to administrative responsibility under Part 4 of Article 18.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Failure of the receiving party to fulfill obligations in connection with the implementation of migration registration, if these actions do not contain signs of criminal punishable act).
