BELGOROD, May 15. The Ukrainian military shelled the territory of the Belgorod region about 150 times over the past 24 hours, two civilians were injured, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on the Telegram channel.
On Wednesday, in his Telegram channel, he published information about the shelling that occurred in the region on May 14. At least 131 shells were fired at 10 municipalities. Five explosive devices were dropped from drones, and 14 drones attacked the region. According to the head of the region, during the reporting day in the Belgorod region a woman and a man were injured and were hospitalized. Damage was detected in four apartment buildings, 38 private houses, 22 cars, a social facility, two shops and two agricultural enterprises. 
“40 artillery shells were fired at the village of Zhuravlevka… The village of Krasny Khutor came under fire – one arrival was recorded… 15 artillery shells were fired at the village of Shchetinovka… Over the village of Cheremoshnoye and the village of Malinovka, one enemy UAV was shot down by the air defense system,” Gladkov wrote.
He added that in the Borisov region the village of Tsapovka came under mortar fire. The village of Bogun-Gorodok was attacked by a kamikaze drone. A drone was destroyed by the air defense system over the territory of the Khotmyzh rural settlement. In the Valuysky district, the village of Stary Khutor was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using a kamikaze drone. The village of Pavlovka was shelled seven times from cannon artillery.
“In the Korochansky district, near the village of Ivitsa, fragments of a shell were discovered in a field and seized by specialists. In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, on the outskirts of the village of Staroselye, the enemy attacked with a kamikaze drone. There were no casualties or damage. On the outskirts of the village of Stepnoye, an aircraft-type UAV was shot down by air defense systems,” – noted the head of the region.
In the Grayvoronsky district, according to Gladkov, attacks using five drones were recorded in the city of Grayvoron, the village of Sovkhozny and the village of Novostroevka-Pervaya. Six mortar shells were fired at the outskirts of the Gorkovsky village, and one explosive device was also dropped from a UAV. In the villages of Kozinka, Poroz, Spodaryushino and Novostroevka-Vtoraya, a total of 32 artillery arrivals were recorded. Also, on the outskirts of Novostroevka-Vtoraya, one explosive device was dropped from a UAV. 
“In the Prokhorovsky district, over the territory near the Petrovsky farm, an aircraft-type UAV was shot down by an air defense system. In the Stary Oskol urban district, two enemy UAVs were shot down by an air defense system. No one was hurt, there was no damage. When the drone debris fell into a coniferous forest, a fire occurred in two fires with a total area about 1 hectare. Firefighting crews and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as the traffic police of the Stary Oskol district and the Chernyansky district, worked on the site. At the moment, the fire has been extinguished,” Gladkov emphasized.
In the Shebekino urban district, the city of Shebekino was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using two FPV drones. A total of 27 shells were fired at the outskirts of the city, as well as the villages of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Murom and the village of Balki.
A high (yellow) level of terrorist danger has been established throughout the Belgorod region since April 11, 2022. The need to introduce a regime is caused by the aggravation of the situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border and the increased activity of the Ukrainian military in the border areas. The length of the Ukrainian border with the Belgorod region is 350 kilometers.
