YAROSLAVL, May 23. The private plane that left the runway while landing at Kaluga International Airport was flying from Mogilev, there were only four crew members on board, they were not injured, the airport press service said.
Earlier, the Western Interregional Investigative Department of the RF Investigative Committee for Transport reported that it was conducting an investigation after a private plane rolled off the runway while landing at Kaluga airport, receiving damage, but no one was injured.
The incident, according to the airport, occurred at 13.48.
«A private amphibious aircraft L-4, flying from Mogilev, landed at Kaluga international airport. During landing, the plane rolled off the runway. As a result of landing, the left wing of the aircraft was damaged and The left main landing gear was broken. There were 4 crew members on board the ship, there were no injuries,” the airport’s press service said.
The message notes that in connection with the incident, Azimut Airlines plane A46003, flying from Mineralnye Vody, was redirected to Nizhny Novgorod airport. In the near future, the aircraft will return with passengers to Kaluga airport and will continue to operate flights according to the schedule.
