“The Soyuzmultfilm film studio will celebrate the bright date — the 88th anniversary of its founding — with a series of events that will cover cities throughout Russia. Thus, you can join the celebration by attending special screenings and educational quests,” the message says.
It is emphasized that on June 10, the “Look for 1 ruble” campaign will be held throughout the country, the partners of which are the cinema chains “Cinema Park” and “Formula Kino”. As part of a series of screenings that can be visited in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk and Voronezh, you will be able to see birthday-themed episodes of the popular animated series “Orange Cow”, “Chuch- Meauch”, “LudlVille”, “Umka”, “Prostokvashino” and “Well, wait a minute!
“A highlight of each screening will be the premiere of a short film created specifically for the studio’s anniversary. The film “Kroshki” will show the heroes of the famous cartoons of the “golden collection” as children. 45-minute film screenings, costing 1 ruble, will be held from 10.00 to 21.00 — 11 screenings in total «, the press service clarified.
In addition, on June 10, a series of thematic quests for the whole family will start, which can be completed in nine Russian cities. By completing tasks in a special chat bot, users will be able to take a free exciting walk around the city together with the heroes of Soyuzmultfilm. Starting from June 10, residents of Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk and Samara will be able to take part in quests. Later, this list will be supplemented by Kazan, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Kursk and Yakutsk.
Another campaign starts on June 1 in Moscow’s Soyuzmultpark at VDNKh. Over the course of 88 days, there will be screenings of cartoons from different years: from “Winnie the Pooh” and “Mittens” to “Orange Cow” and rare festival animated films, the film studio added.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Soyuzmultfilm Yuliana Slashcheva noted that Soyuzmultfilm is the oldest Russian film studio, which in the 21st century continues its rapid development, creating new incredible worlds where kindness, friendship, family comfort, mutual support and creativity invariably reign, so it was decades ago, this is how it is now, and these same values will remain unchanged for the Film Studio in the future.
