The German brand has expanded the range of trim levels for its fresh electric SUV. The basic SUV is already available for order.

The world premiere of the serial global electrocross Audi Q6 e-tron on the PPE platform shared with the new Porsche Macan took place in March of this year. The Audi SUV debuted with dual-motor all-wheel drive — such cars have the traditional quattro designation. In the Old World, orders for an all-wheel drive SUV began to be accepted immediately after the presentation. And now a basic rear-wheel drive crossover is available to Europeans. It is curious that the cheapest version is given the name Performance, although it is usually used for powerful top-end versions.

Be that as it may, an electric motor is installed on the rear axle of the Audi Q6 e-tron Performance, which in launch control mode is capable of producing 326 hp. (rated power — 306 hp). The total output of the all-wheel drive Q6 e-tron is 387 hp, the SQ6 e-tron quattro version is 489 hp. (in launch control mode – 517 hp). The battery is the same for all modifications — with a capacity of 100 kWh.

The twin-engine Audi Q6 e-tron quattro accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, the SQ6 e-tron will do this exercise in 4.3 or 4.4 seconds (with and without launch control). The maximum speed of these SUVs is 210 and 230 km/h, respectively. The maximum rated range of the basic electric crossover is 641 km according to the WLTP cycle. The all-wheel drive Q6 e-tron can travel 625 km, and the “charged” SQ6 e-tron quattro – 598 km.

Live sales will start in Europe in the third quarter. And at the beginning of next year, the Audi Q6 e-tron will enter the Chinese market: they will offer an extended version with the L prefix and other equipment.
