Large crossover Changan CS95 officially starts in Russia, price announced

The three-row SUV is offered to Russian customers in a single configuration with all-wheel drive and an uncontested 2.0 petrol turbo engine.

« Parallel crossovers Changan CS95 appeared in the Russian Federation a few months ago, but officially the local representative office of the brand is bringing the model to the market only now. An SUV was brought to us after restyling in 2019, while in its native China, the “ninety-fifth” just recently experienced a second upgrade. Recall that the cross has been produced since 2016.

In terms of dimensions, the CS95 is close to the current Toyota Highlander. The length of the «Chinese» intended for Russia is 4949 mm, width — 1930 mm, height — 1790 mm, wheelbase — 2810 mm. Passport ground clearance — 190 mm. The default model has a seven-seater interior, the trunk volume is 418 liters.

Changan CS95 is offered with a non-alternative petrol «turbo» 2.0, which produces 220 hp. and 360 Nm. The engine can be «powered» by the AI-92, it is paired with the classic six-speed «automatic» from Aisin. In Russia, the crossover is presented exclusively with all-wheel drive, although in China there are still front-wheel drive versions.

Russians Changan CS95 is now available in the only rich configuration. The list of equipment includes: 19-inch wheels, LED optics, «leather» interior, virtual tidy (10.25 inches), a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a full-time DVR, wireless charging for a smartphone, power adjustment and ventilation of the front seats (the driver's seat also has a memory function, plus the front seats still have a massage function), three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and an electric tailgate. There are also front and side airbags, curtain airbags, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, auto-brake systems, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning.

The price of Changan CS95 is 3,999,900 rubles (excluding shares). For comparison, the Exeed VX all-wheel drive crossover with a 2.0 turbo engine and a seven-speed “robot” at the price list today costs from 4,909,000 rubles (also excluding special offers). But the basic frame SUV Haval H9 with a two-liter petrol turbo engine (218 hp), all-wheel drive and 8AKP costs 4,099,000 rubles.
