The British automaker intends to step up its offensive in the electric vehicle segment, resulting in the launch of an electric version of Land Rover's flagship SUV, the Range Rover, in 2025. Orders for the novelty will begin before the end of this year.
Although the novelty will be sold under the name Range Rover, however, in fact it is a different model than the classic off-road vehicle with an internal combustion engine. Most likely, the company will release a mid-size SUV, which will be based on the EMA platform.
There are no other details about the model yet. However, the company noted that the production site for the novelty will be the plant in Halewood, which in the future will become the center for the production of exclusively electric JKR models on the EMA platform.
