Bentley slightly updated Flying Spur, Continental GT and GTC Azure

Modest changes will affect the appearance and interior of several models of the British brand, which is part of the German concern Volkswagen. The technique remains the same.

The luxury car maker was doing more than well last year, with Bentley previously reporting record numbers for 2022. Thus, the operating profit of the company for the specified period amounted to 708 million euros, which is twice the figure for 2021. In total, the luxury brand sold 15,174 copies worldwide. At the same time, the Bentayga crossover remained the leader (it accounted for 42% of the total brand sales). About a third was taken by the Continental GT and the open-top variant, with the Flying Spur accounting for another 28%.

Bentley Continental GTC Azure

Now the British manufacturer has talked about updating several models, including the Bentley Continental GT family and the GTC Azure. The adjustments affected mainly the appearance of the cars. So, the coupe and convertible received a different grille: like the long-wheelbase version of the Bentayga EWB Azure, its pattern is made in the form of thin vertical rods.

In addition, the Continental GT and GTC Azure received an expanded body color palette during the update — it was replenished with a blue-green variant called Topaz Blue. The profile was adorned with other 22-inch 10-spoke wheels.

The interior of the coupé and cabriolet has been refreshed with the addition of Azure, with light-colored quilted upholstery with an elongated diamond pattern, as well as high-pile wool floor mats, which are now standard equipment.

Bentley gave the Flying Spur S and Speed ​​​​a few changes (they are also available for the Continental GT and GTC): we are talking, in particular, about the special finishing of the front panel, as well as the doors: they received a three-dimensional pattern also made of diamonds, which is a reference to the racing pedigree Bentley. The new Granite Gray decor is also available for the Speed ​​series cars.

Recall last fall Bentley showed the Continental GT Convertible Mulliner Riviera. These limited-edition cars were designed with a nautical theme. Those who wished to purchase their exclusive copy of the model were offered at the representative office of the company in Monaco.

This the convertible was offered three body colors to choose from, all «marine» — Aegean Blue, Aquamarine and Caribbean Blue. This special version received a body-colored carbon fiber body kit and a trunk lid spoiler. In the cabin, you can see nautical knot embroidery on the headrests, as well as special door sills and a key case.
