ASTANA, December 5Kazakh authorities are studying the information and situation that is accumulating around the Russian series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt,” said Minister of Science and Education Sayasat Nurbek.
At a media briefing in the government, Nurbek and the Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev commented on the situation around the series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt.”
«Indeed, there is now a lot of information surrounding this series. Several statements have been made in the Russian Federation itself. We are now studying this issue. We do not want to draw any premature conclusions. Our ministry has involved several of its experts, from the Ministry of Information (Ministry of Culture and information — ed.). The issue is being studied. If necessary, perhaps some decisions will be made,» Nurbek said.
In turn, the head of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan added that the department promotes zero tolerance for any type of violence.
«The Ministry of Education, and I personally, of course, we are against any kind of violence. Of course, there should be zero tolerance. There is a certain study. As you know, as far as I am aware, even the manufacturing country (Russia — ed.) is already considering this issue,» Beisembayev noted.
Previously, the chairman of the State Duma Committee for Family Protection, Nina Ostanina, appealed to the Investigative Committee and Roskomnadzor of the Russian Federation to check the series “The Boy’s Word” for promoting a dangerous lifestyle for teenagers.
In the Almaty region in the south of Kazakhstan, on November 29, a mass fight occurred between teenagers, students of one of the rural schools, the video of which was widely distributed in public and media.
