
MOSCOW , Feb. 3American actor Don Murray, known for his role in the TV series “Twin Peaks: The Return,” and who also played the heroine’s lover Marilyn Monroe in the comedy “Bus Stop,” died at the age of 94, New York newspaper writes. Times, citing the actor's son.
“His son Christopher confirmed the death on Friday, but did not provide other details,” the publication said.
Murray has played many roles in film and television over the course of 60 years. For his role in the comedy Bus Stop (1956), where he played the role of a cowboy in love with the heroine of actress Marilyn Monroe, the actor was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
