Yesterday it was announced that the premiere of Yangwang U9 will take place on April 18, on social networks, the brand posted images of Yangwang U9 in track performance (purple car), they are signed as Ultimat9, so now we know what the letter U means. The purple car differs from the yellow one in a more developed aerodynamic plumage, including a fixed aft wing and an elongated longitudinal keel.

CarNewsChina magazine reports that the Yangwang U9 is based on the new BYD Yisifang EV platform and that its power plant consists of four electric motors (one for each wheel), each delivering a maximum of 275 hp. and 320 Nm. The maximum cumulative return is 1100 hp. and 1280 Nm. Up to 100 km/h, the supercar can accelerate in 2 s. The capacity of the latest high-performance BYD Blade battery will be at least 100 kWh, the range on a single charge according to the Chinese CLTC cycle is about 700 km. The expected minimum price is about one million yuan (11.7 million rubles in translation at the current rate).
