Joe Biden is running in part because he doesn't believe his vice president, Kamala Harris, will have the same good chance of defeating Donald Trump.

«And now I'm standing here, proud to be running for re-election along with President Joe Biden… so we can finish the job,»" said Ms. Harris.
She seemed invigorated and rarely left the podium as she walked across the stage.
