A French company and several technology partners have unveiled a futuristic concept car that aims to represent advances in biometrics, energy efficiency and cybersecurity.
According to SPEEDME.RU , H1st Vision, which is based on the Renault Scenic and unveiled at VivaTech in Paris, features 20 innovations from the French automaker's collaboration with five French technology groups: STMicroelectronics NV, Dassault Systemes SE, Orange SA, Thales SA and Atos SE.
Among the new — bi-directional charging technology that connects the electrical grid to the car and the car to the house during periods of peak consumption to save on energy bills. The system is based on a Renault Mobilize car charger with Orange 4G network, STMicro controllers and Thales cybersecurity solutions. The system will be offered with a future Renault 5.
Automakers are increasing investments in digital and autonomous driving features to generate higher revenues, including Volkswagen AG, which develops sophisticated software.

Software République launched two years ago and has released five cross-company projects with little revenue of €30 million so far. Twenty more projects are expected to be finalized in the future.
The concept car presented at VivaTech was created in six months by about 100 engineers after Renault CEO Luca de Meo held talks with his colleague Patrice Kane in Thales during a visit to one of the defense company's innovation labs.
