The previous head of the enterprise, Dmitry Pronin, is now the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC MAZ Moskvich.
Hans-Peter Moser (in the title photo) from today, June 29, has been holding the position of General Director of Moskvich: the Board of Directors of JSC MAZ Moskvich made the corresponding decision. The new head of the company was born in Germany and received an education in economics and business management at one of the universities in the country.
As noted in the press service of Moskvich, Hans-Peter Moser has «many years of experience in senior positions in large international and domestic manufacturing companies» behind him. It is worth noting that earlier the top manager worked for KAMAZ for nine years, which is a technology partner of JSC MAZ Moskvich.

Earlier, Dmitry Pronin previously held the position of general director of Moskvich. Now he has become the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC MAZ Moskvich.

The current line of the revived Russian brand so far includes only the Moskvich 3 crossover and its fully electric version, the Moskvich 3e. The «donor» for the model was the Chinese SUV JAC JS4. The cost of a model with an internal combustion engine today starts at 1,992,000 rubles, and for the «green» modification they ask for at least 3,558,000 rubles.
Last spring, it became known that Moskvich 3 got a new version of Comfort — it has heated seats, virtual tidying and a system of all-round cameras. At the same time, the company said that such crossovers will be included in a limited series (the manufacturer did not disclose the circulation). The recommended retail price of such cars is 2,250,000 rubles.
Sketch of the future new Moskvich crossover
In the future, the brand line will be replenished due to the Moskvich 6 liftback, which is a converted Sehol Yao (the brand belongs to JAC) or one of the variants of the five-door JAC J7. «Donor» is present on the Russian market: the model is equipped with a 136-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine, which is paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. The drive is only front.
Later, Moskvich will present another model, its name is still kept secret in the company. So, in the spring, a sketch was published showing the future crossover. As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, it is expected that this time either JAC S7 or JAC Sehol X6 can act as a “donor” (both options are not presented in the Russian Federation).
