Sitronics KT, which is part of the Sitronics Group, will develop a training simulator based on virtual reality technologies for training drivers and service specialists of special equipment, including caterpillar self-propelled earth-moving machines (bulldozers).
The CHETRA T20.02K bulldozer simulator is made on the basis of a real cab and is designed to teach the basics of controlling equipment, obtaining initial tactile and visual control skills. In addition, it will help develop the skills of troubleshooting and troubleshooting. During the training process, errors will be automatically fixed and statistical results will be generated.
The VR simulator is being developed by Sitronics KT specialists under a contract for the supply of a training center that trains specialists from operating and maintenance organizations. In particular, attention is paid to the features of the design, management and repair of CHETRA equipment.
In order to match real-life conditions, the simulator will be equipped with a VR helmet and hand control controllers with haptic feedback. At the same time, the cab is equipped with all levers, pedals and devices that are installed in the cab of the CHETRA T20.02K bulldozer. The sound of a working bulldozer is reproduced in the cab. Training is managed from a specialized instructor's seat.
Previously, we developed and produced a bulldozer simulator on a mobility system with a full-fledged original cab. We are pleased to continue working with CHETRA, especially this time we are talking about the introduction of new technologies that allow us to increase involvement in the learning process. Truly high-quality and comfortable simulators are obtained only with close cooperation between the equipment manufacturer and developers. Evgeniy Shishenin Development Director Sitronics KT /i>
