Data from S&P Global Mobility shows that Hyundai and Kia sold a total of 1.39 million vehicles in the U.S. in 2015 and at then customer loyalty stood at 55.2%. Since 2015, the Genesis brand has expanded significantly to include three sedans and three SUVs, while Hyundai and Kia sold 1.45 million vehicles last year. Of 56 140 were under the Genesis brand.
In addition to Genesis playing a role in increasing sales amid auto component shortages affecting production for much of 2022 Genesis contributed to the growth of customer loyalty of Hyundai Motor Group to & nbsp; 62.3%. S&P Global Mobility notes that the quality and desirability of vehicles is a key driver of customer loyalty, as is the breadth and depth of its product portfolio. While Hyundai customer loyalty in the US fell slightly to 60.5% in the first half of the year, the automaker remains in second place in the industry, behind only GM.
“Trust and Genesis's competitiveness has really grown, I I think in part because of the competitiveness of the Kia and Hyundai brands — Libby said.
