The State Duma of the Russian Federation at a meeting on Tuesday, November 14 , adopted in final reading a bill providing for an increase in pensions for military personnel from October 1, 2024.
Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin previously stated that “after the adoption of the law, pensions of military personnel, as well as persons equivalent to them, will increase by 4.5 %”. The measure will be relevant for more than 2.7 million people, he pointed out.
“Our task is to support those who ensured the security of our country,” Volodin said, emphasizing that legislative support for the growth of military pensions is “ by order of the President.”
