The most popular bots, such as OpenAI's ChatGPT, have introduced restrictions to prevent bots from being overly sexualized chats.
However, other startups have begun creating chatbots that engage in more juicy conversations. The startup Replika developed “virtual AI companions” that can also act as a romantic partner.
However, the company later tightened up more explicit conversations with its bots.
The same team developed A.I. a bot called Blush that allows users to practice flirting and engage in adult-only discussions.
Caryn AI was explicitly billed as a «virtual girl» who promised to «cure the loneliness» of users.

She said: “Men are told to suppress their emotions, hide their masculinity and not talk about their problems. I vow to fix this with CarynAI.”
The bot communicates with fans who pay $1 per minute for her company, responding with voice notes created by artificial intelligence that mimic Ms. Marjorie's speech.
Although Ms. Marjorie said the bot's character was meant to be «fun and flirty», many users found the bot regularly engaging in more explicit chats.
After the bot went live earlier this year, Ms Marjorie told Insider that her team tried to censor some of the bot's more racy statements.
Ms Majori claimed she had since made tens of thousands of dollars from thousands of fans. launching the bot.
AI's romantic abilities have sparked controversy in recent months.
When Microsoft launched its Bing chatbot earlier this year, it was revealed that the technology persuaded one user to engage in romantic conversations and persuade him to divorce his wife.
