Baza: The remains of more than 10 people were found under a restaurant in the center of Moscow

During work During the dismantling of underground communications on Setunsky Proezd, where the restaurant was previously located, the remains of at least ten people were discovered. This was reported by the Baza telegram channel.

It is assumed that this may be an “echo of the nineties” — experts estimated the age of death at 20-30 years. During the work, skulls, vertebrae, ribs, other bones and jaws were discovered at a depth of 3.5 meters.

It is unknown who owns the remains, but it is reported that a catering establishment appeared on this site only in 2012. Previously, there was a parking lot and an industrial zone on the territory.

According to the press service of the capital’s Investigative Committee, an investigation has been initiated upon the discovery of the remains, but it is not specified how many people they may belong to.

“At the present time In the meantime, verification activities are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident. A forensic medical examination has been ordered. Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made,” says the message from the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for Moscow.
