MOSCOW, November 22. Nigora Fazilova, the nurse of People's Artist of Russia Alexander Gradsky, said on the air of the Malakhov program that the singer suffered a stroke before his death.
“
"Suddenly his hand falls, and he himself begins to gradually sink down and stops talking… I immediately realized that it was a stroke…,” she shared.
According to Fazilova, doctors tried to hospitalize Gradsky several times that day. He had difficulty moving in a wheelchair.
“»The ambulance came three times. The first time they arrived, measured his blood pressure, and said: “This is a pre-stroke, we need to take him away.” […] But Alexander Borisovich himself refused, he signed [refusal from hospitalization — ed.] that won’t go to any hospital,” Fazilova explained.
According to her, Gradsky did not want to go to the hospital and leave the nurse without housing and work, and besides, he preferred to be sick at home.
The master was transferred to doctors only after his condition had critically deteriorated. By the time he arrived at the hospital, the stroke had already lasted 8 hours, and as a result, doctors were unable to help Gradsky.
The musician died on November 28, 2021. His health deteriorated sharply after contracting COVID-19 in September of the same year.
