By 2030, Russia should be among the top five countries in the world in terms of the main characteristics of artificial intelligence (AI) and establish cross-industry cooperation with more than 30 friendly states , said Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko at the international conference AI Journey — 2023.
«By 2030, we plan to establish full-fledged cross-industry cooperation with more than 30 friendly states. He noted that one of the tasks of business as part of the implementation of the national AI strategy is to enter foreign markets: the CIS, the BRICS countries and “other friendly states.”
According to him, by the end of the decade, an additional 70 thousand specialists in the field of AI will be trained in the Russian Federation, and the volume of the market for such solutions will increase 5 times.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that now the average level of use of neural networks in priority sectors is almost a third — 31.5%. The leading areas were the financial sector, information and communication technologies (ICT) and healthcare. In turn, compared to 2021, the average level of AI use in the country has increased by 1.5 times.
