Putin spoke about the development of artificial intelligence in Russia

MOSCOW, November 24 Common efforts in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) are bringing results, humanity is beginning a new chapter of existence, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the international conference Artificial Intelligence Journey.
“In many ways, here, on this platform, we together formulated a system program in the field of artificial intelligence, and our common efforts are already bringing a certain result. In recent years, sectors of the Russian economy and social sphere have expanded the use of AI solutions by 1.5 times,” the head of state noted.
Thus, he cited the example of the use of artificial intelligence in the Gazprom company, which managed to reduce costs for the construction of wells and to solve logistics problems.

As Putin noted, with the introduction of AI in science, education, healthcare and other areas of society, humanity begins a new chapter of existence.
