MOSCOW, November 27. Twelve people who suffered from the actions of blogger and business coach Ayaz Shabutdinov filed police reports against him, said Andrey Kovalev, chairman of the All-Russian Entrepreneurs Movement.
«»Twelve new people who were not on the lists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs filed applications against Shabutdinov. All of them were accepted by the department for consideration,” he said.
Kovalyov clarified that over the weekend he organized a meeting of victims of the “illegal activities of Ayaz Shabutdinov and other bloggers.”
Last week, the Moscow City Court rejected a complaint against the arrest of a business coach. Lawyer Kaloy Alkhigov then said that “the prosecution and investigation are collecting statements” against his client, and “some pseudo-activists” are helping them with this. Officially, there are eight victims in the case.
The blogger is accused of fraud on an especially large scale. According to investigators, he headed the educational “Like Center” and, together with his accomplices, offered those wishing to buy various courses, trainings and webinars, at which he promised to teach “effective entrepreneurial activity with the receipt of super-income.” Convinced of the supposedly high effectiveness of educational programs, eight people entered into contracts for amounts ranging from 100 thousand to 1.9 million rubles.
Shabutdinov does not admit guilt. According to the incriminated article, he faces up to ten years in prison.
