On November 29, the Russian military department announced for the first time in recent weeks the liberation of a settlement from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This happened in the Donetsk direction in the zone of responsibility of the Southern Group of Forces. With the support of aviation and artillery, attack aircraft liberated the village of Artemovskoye in the DPR. The Chairman of the Presidium of the All-Russian Organization «Officers of Russia», Hero of the Russian Federation, Major General Sergei Lipovoy, appreciated this tactical success.

“Today there was news about the capture of the village of Artemovskoye,” says Sergei Lipovoy. — It was turned by Ukrainian troops into a strong point and was the connecting link directly to the entire line of defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Taking this strong point gives us a tactical advantage and ensures further advance to create the so-called envelopment. So that nearby groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are now located in neighboring populated strongholds, get into the “cauldron”.

Secondly, this tactical success has moral and psychological significance. When the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters see that they are being bypassed from left to right, naturally, they no longer think about attacking, but about how to escape without falling under the “friendly” fire of their barrage detachments, which are behind them .

In any case, the capture of a well-fortified point in Artemovsky gives us tactical superiority. And for the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were forced out of there, there was a threat that they would soon fall into the “cauldron”, and their morale was no longer the same. They are already making plans on how to quickly retreat so as not to get caught «cauldron« and not be destroyed.
