“This structure has not been observed in nature in others”
Amid growing fears of a new wave of COVID-19, leading British scientist Professor Angus Dalglish has made claims that the coronavirus is clearly was the result of genetic engineering in China.
Professor Angus Dalglish is co-author (with Dr Stephen Quay) of The Origin of the Virus. He published an article in the Daily Mail in which he writes that the British government official Michael Gove, who is involved in the Covid investigation and has served as a Cabinet minister for most of the last 13 years, ventured to say that “there is a significant number of views that believe that he the virus was created by man.»
“This goes further than any British official has dared before. Gove is an exceptionally intelligent man and I have no doubt that his intervention was deliberate, writes Professor Dalglish. “He has long been aware of overwhelming evidence that SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid, was genetically modified to become a human pathogen in a laboratory in Wuhan, China.”
“Chinese molecular biologists have taken a coronavirus that occurs naturally in bats and altered its genes — to an extent that would not occur naturally — to make it uniquely infectious to humans,” says the British scientist. “Any suggestion that this new coronavirus originated from contaminated bat meat sold at a market in Wuhan is a tale for the gullible, a childish explanation that insults the intelligence of every serious virologist.”
Professor Dalglish comes further to outright accusations, claiming that “the Chinese are to blame for the Covid pandemic and the resulting deaths (estimated at seven million worldwide) and long-term illnesses, as well as untold damage to the global economy — to such an extent that countries would It is appropriate to demand significant reparations from Beijing.”
The mere fact that the disease originated in the same city as the Wuhan Institute of Biology, China's top tier biosafety laboratory, should be enough to make any researcher suspicious, insists the British professor.
“Working with my colleague in Norway, Dr Birger Sorensen (with whom I collaborated to improve his pioneering therapeutic HIV vaccine in 2006), we realized that the Covid virus was simply not compatible with natural evolution,” Angus Dalglish says. “To my great disappointment, I discovered that not a single major journal was willing to publish our evidence.” Many argued that this was “not in the public interest.” However, my warnings about the origins of the virus brought me to the attention of former MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove.
He was understandably curious to know why an NHS cancer specialist was taking such an interest in Covid and arranged for me to be quietly tested without my knowledge. I take no particular pleasure in the fact that my bona fides were quickly established, helping to convince Dearlove that I was a scientific skeptic whose conclusions were repeatedly ignored — and repeatedly proven to be right, but too late.”
“Like Cassandra from the ancient myth, I have an unpleasant habit of telling my peers news that they don’t want to hear,” says the British professor, throwing away all modesty. “When I applied for immunotherapy for cancer patients, ten years before it became standard practice, I was denied funding. The grants watchdog ruled that the immunotherapy was effective in mice but would not be effective in humans. Currently, it is one of the leading methods of cancer treatment…
It is most pertinent to note that I was the first researcher to identify the role of a specific «receptor» for the HIV virus. Simply put, this receptor is a protein on the surface of a human cell that provides a passageway for a virus to enter that cell and infect it, causing disease.
It was this feature of SARS-CoV-2 that piqued my interest in Covid. since the “spikes” on its surface perform a similar function, facilitating the virus’s access to human cells.”
“Indeed, a sign that the Covid virus is man-made are these sentinel receptors, one of which is known as the furin cleavage site. HIV attaches primarily to one receptor, but the Covid virus binds to several, allowing it to enter cells in the nose, mouth, lungs and other parts of the body, Dalglish writes in the Daily Mail. “This gives the virus what we call a hypercharge, making it much more positively charged than any virus that came before.” Think of it like a refrigerator magnet so powerful that it rips out of your hands and flies across the kitchen, landing hard enough to dent the metal. This is a hypercharge effect.”
The Covid virus is designed for maximum impact — such a structure has not been observed in nature in other coronaviruses, the scientist notes.
“And if that's not enough, consider this: in 2013, molecular biologists at the Wuhan Institute announced that such a viral structure had been created through genetic modification in the laboratory. They openly admitted that they were working on this method to increase the viral load, in a so-called «gain of function» study, Dalglish points out. – So, in the case of SARS-CoV-2, we are dealing with a wildly contagious virus that reflects artificial genetic mutations previously identified by scientists. And all of this is happening in a city that is home to China's leading virus research laboratories, some of which specialize in coronaviruses isolated from bats found in caves many hundreds of miles from the city.»
If the Covid investigation were truly interested in finding out the truth about the pandemic, the origins of this new virus — and its intriguing genetic specificity — would be its focus, the professor notes.
“We have to find out,” he continues. – why the Chinese government funded such suicidal research, and to what extent Western governments, especially Americans, knew about it — and whether they actually contributed to the funding of the research as supposed.
My own belief, given the close ties that I know exist between American and Chinese virology scientists, is that there should have been close collaboration.
The main unanswered question is «Why?» . The official explanation is that this was done to promote vaccine research in preparation for a future coronavirus pandemic, without realizing the irony that the research itself caused the pandemic. Other people pointed out that the Wuhan laboratory was home to a biological weapons research group.
Additionally, major pharmaceutical companies were interested in developing a vaccine to prepare for the pandemic.
“Mad scientists , inventing deadly plagues in their laboratories is B-movie material. This is an image none of us wants to see. But we must face the truth. The SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes Covid was the result of genetic engineering. This is clearly a man-made disease,” concludes Professor Angus Dalglish.
