The wife of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Elena Zelenskaya, following her husband, asked the West to continue to support Kyiv. According to her, if Western countries stop their support, Ukrainians could face “mortal danger.”

As reported by the BBC, Elena Zelenskaya the day after Republican senators blocked the White House request about the allocation of new funds to help Ukraine amounting to more than $60 billion, in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation said: “If the world gets tired, they will just let us die.”

She added that continued Western support is good for Ukraine “a matter of life.”

“We really need help,” the wife of the Ukrainian leader repeated, adding that it was painful to see how American senators refused to vote for this bill.
