LUGANSK, December 8 Two people were killed and five were injured as a result of a collision between two cars in the LPR, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic reported.
Previously, the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the LPR called on residents of the republic to limit movement by vehicle due to difficult weather conditions, including snowfall.
“As a result of a collision between two cars, 7 people were injured, two of whom died. Three passengers were trapped by structures in two different cars. The victims required the help of rescuers,” the department reports on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the accident occurred on the Lugansk-Lisichansk highway near the village of Zheltoye.
“The 5th Fire and Rescue Unit arrived at the scene of the accident. Emergency Situations Ministry employees disconnected the batteries from the battery. Also, using the Prostor hydraulic tool, they released the trapped man from the car and handed him over to the doctors,” the message says.
