A photographer took pictures of one 520-pound shark tagged with a satellite marker.
In another photo, Mr. Boden grabs the fin of a nine-foot shark with his bare hands.
Mr. Boden and his six-person crew set off from La Paz, Mexico, and headed out into the ocean, where they searched for Mako sharks so they could catch, tag, and release them back into the ocean.
By placing markers on the sharks, they could observe their behavior for at least a year.
