In November 2023, 4.2 thousand families improved their living conditions with the help of mortgage loans. The volume of transactions amounted to 22.7 billion rubles, this exceeds the result of November last year by more than one and a half times.
Most often, mortgage loans in November were issued by residents of Moscow and the Moscow region (6 billion rubles. and 2.3 billion rubles, respectively), St. Petersburg (1.8 billion rubles), Krasnodar Territory (1.4 billion rubles) and Tyumen region (1.2 billion rubles).
The top 10 also included the Novosibirsk region (about 800 million rubles), Primorsky Krai (about 750 million rubles), the Republic of Tatarstan (720 million rubles), Rostov (700 million rubles) and Leningrad region (about 700 million rubles).
The largest increase in demand for mortgages was shown by the Rostov (2.5 times) and Tyumen (2.2 times) regions, St. St. Petersburg (2.1 times), Krasnodar and Primorsky territories (1.8 times), as well as Moscow (1.7 times).
“The engine of demand in November remains mortgages for new buildings: there are four times more loans in the primary market than in the secondary market. Last year this ratio was 3:1. The share of targeted state programs has increased: “Family” and IT mortgages, by 1.5 and 2.5 times, respectively,” said Alexey Kosyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM.RF Bank.
The largest number of housing loans were issued under “Family Mortgage” — 38% of the total volume of issues. Every third client took advantage of the “Preferential discount on new buildings.” The next most popular program is for IT specialists: about 17% of clients have signed up for it. Lending for the purchase of finished housing accounted for 6.5%, new buildings without government support — 2.2%. Another 2% of issuances were made by Far Eastern Mortgage.
Since the beginning of the year, about 42 thousand mortgage transactions in the amount of 220 billion rubles have been completed. — 45% more compared to the period January-November last year.
