An educational model for young scientists has been created in Yenisei Siberia

MOSCOW, December 13. The educational model for the formation of a young scientist was created on the basis of the world-class Scientific and Educational Center (REC) «Yenisei Siberia». 400 researchers from the region took part in the research, the REC project office reported.
As reported in the project office, one of the activities of the Yenisei Siberia REC is the formation of the region’s human resources potential and the development of educational models for ensuring sustainable development. For these purposes, the REC maintains a personnel reserve — a base of specialists recommended for specific projects and initiatives in the region and country. Members of the reserve have the opportunity to quickly receive information about vacancies, participate in educational and educational events.
The efficiency of the activities of scientists and scientific teams can be increased by increasing their subjectivity and degree of awareness in choosing a career path, noted the head of the Center for Competency Development of the REC project office «Yenisei Siberia» Nadezhda Rimatskaya.

"We believe that this increases their motivation to work and learn, as well as their activity in developing professional competencies and academic soft skills. We help young scientists to be on the frontier of science and thus increase their involvement in the implementation of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation,” she said.

Center staff assessed the competencies of 400 young scientists from the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia, and Tuva in three areas: “interdisciplinary interaction,” “cooperation with industry,” and “technological entrepreneurship.”

It turned out that Today, not all scientists are included in interdisciplinary projects. Most of them have not yet started creating scientific projects for production and attracting investment in their developments. According to experts, these areas should become their zone of immediate development.

The assessment results formed the basis of educational and acceleration programs aimed at developing communication competencies, strategic thinking, and developing team project work skills. Leading Russian experts in the field of knowledge-intensive business are involved in working with students.
The world-class scientific and educational center «Yenisei Siberia» was created in 2019 on the initiative of the heads of three regions: the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republics of Khakassia and Tyva. It unites regional scientific and educational organizations with companies in the real sector of the economy. The center's members include nine universities, five research institutes and 14 industrial enterprises.
