BELGOROD, December 14 One of the three civilians injured when a car was blown up by a mine in the Belgorod region was operated on and is in intensive care on artificial ventilation, after stabilization the issue of transporting it to the federal center will be decided, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.
On Wednesday, Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel that an emergency occurred in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district. According to preliminary information, in the area of the Vysoky village, a car with civilians was blown up by a mine. Three people were injured: one of them had a partial amputation of the lower extremities, the second had a closed craniocerebral injury, and the third had a concussion. Regional Health Minister Andrei Ikonnikov told reporters that one of the victims was undergoing surgery in very serious condition, the other two, a man and a woman, were hospitalized with a condition of moderate severity.
«A man with a partial amputation of the lower extremities is now in the regional hospital. Doctors performed an operation, he is in intensive care under mechanical ventilation, in serious condition. After stabilization, the issue of transporting it to the federal center will be decided,” the head of the region wrote.
He added that two other victims are now in city hospital No. 2 in Belgorod, they are receiving the necessary medical care. According to the governor, the woman has a mine explosion injury and a laceration of the soft tissues of the head; doctors assess her condition as moderate; the man has a concussion and a closed injury to the chest and abdominal organs.
