A truck driver from Iran who does not know Russian barely didn’t freeze on the highway in the Perm region. The foreigner was helped by local traffic police officers, reports the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the department, the truck, driven by a driver from Iran, broke down on the highway. At this time, severe frosts are observed in the Perm region, in some parts of the region the temperature drops below minus 40 degrees.
The man waited a long time for help from his colleagues, spent a lot of time in the cabin, the glass of which was completely covered with frost. After some time, two other heavy trucks stopped next to the Iranian’s truck, the drivers of which invited the man to warm up. The accumulation of vehicles was noticed by traffic police officers passing by. Having understood the situation and making sure that the foreigner was not in danger, they took him to a medical facility for examination, and then to a local mosque, where he would stay until the problem with the car was resolved.
It was previously reported that two Russian citizens were deprived of their acquired citizenship of the country for evading military service.
