MOSCOW, December 11 American comedian Chris Rock and a number of his colleagues refused to host the Golden Globe Awards, CNN reports, citing its own sources.

Another potential candidate for the role of host, American Actress and stand-up Ali Wong also pulled out of the show, as did the trio of «SmartLess» podcast hosts — Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett.
Actresses and multiple former Golden Globe hosts, friends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler also did not want to host the ceremony this year.
“It’s a thankless job,” experts interviewed told CNN. “It’s not worth it. There’s a lot of politics. It’s not easy or fun anymore.”
