During the period January-December 2023, more than 3.5 thousand mortgage loans were issued under a preferential program for IT specialists in the amount of over 35 billion rubles. In total, since the launch in May 2022, about 4.7 thousand employees of IT companies have improved their living conditions, the volume of lending amounted to 46.5 billion rubles.
Among the leading regions in terms of issuance since the beginning of 2023 are Moscow (loans issued for 16.5 billion rubles), St. Petersburg (4.3 billion rubles), Moscow region (2.7 billion rubles), Novosibirsk region (1 .4 billion rubles) and the Republic of Tatarstan (1.2 billion rubles). The top 10 also includes Sverdlovsk (1.2 billion rubles), Nizhny Novgorod (1.1 billion rubles), Samara (1 billion rubles), Voronezh regions (750 million rubles) and Krasnodar Territory (about 700 million rubles .).
The most active age group was clients from 30 to 40 years old, they accounted for half of the transactions carried out this year. Every third borrower is under 30 years of age, 16.5% is between 40 and 50 years old.
“In 2023, the program was extended to employees of all accredited IT companies, the age limit for borrowers was increased, and the minimum income requirements were abolished for young professionals. As a result, the age structure of clients has become more diversified — the proportion of borrowers under 30 and 40–50 years old has increased. The percentage of private housing construction in the program has not changed compared to last year — approximately 15%, but the average loan size decreased by half a million rubles and amounted to 9.8 million rubles,” noted Alexey Kosyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of DOM.RF Bank.
More than half of the clients (57%) who have used the program since the beginning of the year are married. Of these, 48% currently do not have children, 29% are raising one child, 19% have two children, and about 4% have many children.
Most often, two-room housing was purchased under the program — 37% (last year — 42%). One-room real estate accounted for 28% (22% a year earlier), about 35% of borrowers bought multi-room apartments (36%).
