    An actor from the series “Streets of Broken Lights” died in St. Petersburg

    ST. PETERSBURG, 22 Dec. In St. Petersburg, at the age of 75, the Honored Artist of Russia Boris Matveev died, the Bolshoi Puppet Theater reported on the VKontakte social network.
    ““It is with bitterness that we announce the tragic news – the Honored Artist of Russia, an artist of the Bolshoi, has died puppet theater Boris Ivanovich Matveev. Boris Ivanovich has worked in our theater since 2003,” the publication says.
    The date and place of the artist’s funeral have not yet been announced.

    Boris Matveev was born on October 19, 1949 year, in 1975 he graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (course of Zinovy ​​Korogodsky). He played in the Leningrad Youth Theater, the Chelyabinsk Youth Theater, the Riga Youth Theater, as well as in the St. Petersburg Theater named after the Lenin Komsomol.

    In addition, the actor starred in several films and TV series, including “Social Protection”, “Streets of Broken lanterns – 6″, “Gold of Troy” and “Rico Brothers”.
